Yashica-Mat

My pictures from the Yashica-Mat

The Yashica-Mat user manual is at the Butkus site.
The Yashica-Mat is a Japanese copy of the classic German Rolleiflex twin lens reflex camera. The crank-advance tlr line from Yashica was in production from 1957 to 1986. All models have excellent four-element Tessar-style lenses and sturdy Copal shutters with a 1/500 top speed. The Yashica-Mat is very well put together and easy to handle compared to many of its competitors. Later models had built-in light meters and would accomodate both 12 and 24-exposure 120 roll film. The Yashica-Mat's history is nicely told at the Camerapedia site.
