This camera has fully automatic exposure settings and is designed for using the 35-mm perforated film having 24x36 mm picture sizes. The camera is fitted with an "Industar-63" lens, which is built-in in the between the lens diaphragm shutter. The camera is loaded with standard cassette for 36 frames.  M52x0.75 thread on the lens is provided for mounting filters. This camera was awarded the gold medal at the 1965 Leipzig World Fair [2].

PM2205. Zorki-10 prototype camera, announced in soviet camera catalogue "Lubitelskaja fotokino apparatura"  (1969). "Zorki-10" markings in Cyrillic characters on the top plate. An original design of the shutter release knob. Synchro contact on the top plate. Different design of the faceplate of the lens. Strap lugs on body. Never happened to see this version alive. 

PM2205 - Zorki-10 prototype camera.

PM2210. Seems to be an earliest version of the regular Zorki-10 camera. Changed design of the shutter release knob. Synchro contact is added on the frontplate. The whole faceplate of the lens is covered by exposure meter. No more strap lugs on body. Serial number, as well as KMZ logotype engraved on the side-plate. Metal shutter advance lever (see picture below). Released in 1964-1967.

PM2210 - Zorki-10  #6521003.

PM2215. Camera identical to PM2210, but with export markings on the top plate already. An additional "MADE IN USSR" markings on the side-plate. Released in 1964-1967.


PM2220. Very uncommon to find early version of Zorki-10 camera. Identical to PM2210, but with 2 additional screws added on both side-plates. The reason of this improvement is still unclear... An export lens markings with "MADE IN USSR" added.

PM2220 - Zorki-10  #6605260.

PM2225. Very easy to find version, released since 1967. Identical to PM2210, but with plastic head of the shutter advance lever already. Slightly changed the decorative rim around the synchro contact. Released in 1967-1971.


PM2230. Camera identical to PM2225, but with export nameplate markings now. An additional "MADE IN USSR" markings on the side-plate. Known camera has s/n #6906234 (SovietCams). Released in 1967-1971.

PM2225 - Zorki-10  #6806912.

PM2235. Less common to find export version under name "Revue-10" (Foto-Quelle magazine c.1971). Nameplate markings engraved on the top plate. An earliest so far known camera has s/n #7101669 (SovietCams).



PM2240. Very common to find export version of the regular "Zorki-10" camera. Identical to PM2230, but with KMZ logotype and "MADE IN USSR" markings silkscreened on the side-plate now. An engraved serial number is moved to the different place on the side-plate. Released in 1972-1975.

PM2235 - Zorki-10  #7101669.

PM2245. Very uncommon to find version of totally black "Zorki-10" camera. All markings painted in white. No otherwise different from PM2240. An only so far known camera #7215129 was found in private collection.

PM2245 - Zorki-10 camera.

PM2250. Very uncommon 2nd version of "REVUE-10" camera with markings, silkscreened on the faceplate (see picture below). An only so far known camera was found in private collection.

PM2255. More common version of "REVUE-10" camera with regular nameplate markings on the faceplate. Released in 1973-1975 for Foto-Quelle magazine.

PM2255 - Zorki-10  #7514516.

PM2260. Very uncommon commemorative Zorki-10 with a label XXV Congress Communist Party of the Soviet Union. An export nameplate markings. A limited batch released in 1975-1976. Soviet Sign of Quality on the accessory shoe. An earliest so far known camera has s/n #7534675 (A.Nikitin coll.)


PM2265. Even more uncommon commemorative Zorki-10 with nameplate markings in Cyrillic characters on the top plate.


PM2270. Easy to find version with soviet Sign of Quality on the accessory shoe. No otherwise different from PM2240. Known camera has s/n #7615876 (SovietCams).

PM2260 - Zorki-10  #7604166.

PM2275. Seems to be the latest version of the particular camera. No more serial number on body (see picture below), on the lens only. New international tripod thread on the bottom is 1/4'' (3/8'' on early cameras). An earliest so far known camera has s/n #7746521 (eBay 2011).
