Vega-2

Identical to the Kiev Vega, but with Industar-M 3.5/23 lens, focusing from 0.5 m – infinity. The focusing control wheel is located in an indentation near the shutter release button. End of the body redesigned for better grip. Calculator disk with symbols on body top. Serial numbering changed to normal dating system during production run [3].

PA2105. Seems to be an earliest known productional version of Vega-2 camera. An initial body finish and design. There's no Киïв/Kiev engravings on the camera's frontplate yet. 5-digits serial number engraved inside the body (see picture below). Variations with red-black (see picture opposite) or totally black markings on memo disk are known to exist. An earliest so far known camera has s/n #00280 (private coll.). PA2105 - Vega-2  #01037.

 

  

PA2110. Very common version to find. Signally changed body design, new nameplate markings as well as the weather symbols already. "Киïв/Kiev" engravings on the camera's frontplate (see picture below). An earliest so far known camera has s/n #05140 (A.Zilbert coll.).

PA2115. Very rare to find export version of the particular camera. Identical to PA2110, but with nameplate markings in Roman characters. An additional "SDELANO B CCCP" engravings on body.
