Prototype semi-auto camera with metal vertically traveling shutter. Seems to be one of the first KMZ's attempt to create a camera with Pentax-K mount (K mount was proposed as an open-standard by Pentax and distributed freely). Simplified version of Zenit-20 Automat and Zenit-21 Automat prototype cameras (never produced in series). At least few versions are known to exist. The main difference - shutter release knob inside/outside the program's operating disk on the top plate (and slightly changed body design). Zenit-22 camera is fitted with prototype Zenitar-K-4 1.7/50mm lens
Camera #84000006 below from Alexey Nikitin (Russia) collection.
